Dor House: The 21st-Century Russian Izba

Dor House: The 21st-Century Russian Izba

A story of silence, wood, and light by Abam Studio.

Sometimes a house is more than just a place to live — it becomes a reflection of deep values and a dialogue with the past. This is how Dor House was born — a contemporary interpretation of the Russian izba, crafted from cedar, stone, and light.

A house that cares for you: it regulates the climate and ensures your comfort. We have subtly and seamlessly integrated modern technologies into an architecture built from natural materials:

– massive cedar log walls, 600 mm thick, keeping warmth in winter and coolness in summer;

– built-in ventilation and humidification systems;

– natural materials: stone, bronze, marble, brass, linen;

– a smart home system for comfort and security;

– sustainability in every detail — not a fashion trend, but the foundation of the design.

This house is more than architecture — it is an ally that nurtures health, harmony, and inner peace.
